Zelensky says Putin wants to ‘drown Ukraine in blood’, including that of Russian soldiers
Russian President Vladimir Putin wants to “drown Ukraine with blood,” claimed his Kyiv counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky.
In an interview with a German newspaper, pictureUkraine’s president says Putin doesn’t care if he kills Russians and Ukrainians.
“He wanted to drown Ukraine with blood, including that of his own soldiers,” Zelensky said.
The Ukrainian leader’s comments came hours after Putin announced a partial mobilization of 300,000 reservists to assist Ukraine’s war effort.
Putin also claimed “this is not a bluff”, vowing that Russia will use its weapons of mass destruction if its territory is threatened.
