PS5 Restock: PlayStation Direct Has Consoles In Stock

For the second time this week, PlayStation Direct has PS5 in stock, but you’ll have to wait in line to get it. Over the past few months, the PS5 and PS5 digital consoles have been selling out not nearly as fast as they once did. We would have discussions hours or even days before restocking sold out, which was a marked improvement over the minutes (or even seconds) we were used to for the better part of two years. Still, the PS5 restocking has been going on for a few weeks, so if you’re still looking for a console, now’s your chance.

You’re still unlikely to find a PS5 on store shelves, and most major retailers have sold out of the PS5, but things are starting to mirror what we’re seeing with the Xbox Series X. First, consoles no longer sell out in minutes, and then they’re almost always readily available at at least one major retailer. We are cautiously optimistic that the concept of PS5 restocking may soon be a thing of the past.

Right now, we’re continuing to track PS5 restocks at major retailers, so if you’re still looking, we’ll update this post every time we see it available.

In addition to standalone consoles, we’re also tracking restockings for the first official PS5 bundle. The bundle comes with a digital voucher redeemable for Horizon Forbidden West on the PlayStation Store. The standard PS5 bundle is $550, while the PS5 digital bundle is $450.
