NY Attorney General Sues Trump, His Three Children, for Alleged Fraud
Democratic New York Attorney General Letitia James took the dramatic step Wednesday to file a lawsuit against former President Donald Trump and his three adult children, accusing them of undervaluing properties for better loans, insurance and taxes interest rate.

“[R]Plus, it’s solely focused on advancing the attorney general’s political agenda. It is very clear that the Attorney General’s Office has exceeded its statutory authority by snooping on transactions where absolutely no wrongdoing occurred,” Haba said in a statement.
“We are confident that our judicial system will not tolerate this unfettered abuse of power, and we look forward to defending our clients against every baseless claim made by the attorney general,” she said.
Donald Trump Jr. was more blunt, tweeting: “Bullshit Democrat witch hunt continues!” His tweet was accompanied by a video of James vowing to sue Trump.

Trump Jr. also tweeted another video of James calling Trump an “illegal president” and said she was looking forward to “suing him and going home.”

She also called him an “existential threat” and a “madman.”
“This president is an existential threat to all of us in this room… The number one problem in this country is defeating Donald Trump. Nothing else matters,” she said.

Rep. Jim Banks, chairman of the Republican Research Committee, called James “desperate.”
“AG Letitia James campaigned against President Trump, and now she is desperate to keep that promise. For the sake of our country, I hope House Democrats and President Biden will wake up and condemn this illegal fishing,” he said in a statement. said in a statement.
