Second Batch Of Xbox Game Pass Games For September Includes Deathloop, Valheim, And More

Several new games for Xbox Game Pass have been announced this month as September approaches. The biggest game of the month is Deathloop, developer Arkane’s award-winning first-person shooter that was previously exclusive to the PlayStation console. With the exclusivity period over, Microsoft is now readying the Xbox Series X|S and PC versions of the game through its subscription plans, which will include some major upgrades as part of the Golden Loop update.

Also launching today is Hardspace: Shipbreaker, an even lighter game set in space where you work in the stars to make a living. You’ll use a range of heavy tools to cut through abandoned starships and other debris, and once you start upgrading your gear, you’ll be able to secure more lucrative contracts.

On September 22, Game Pass subscribers can look forward to three new games in the form of Spider-Heck, Beacon Pines, and Slime Rancher 2. SpiderHeck pits nature’s greatest eight-legged killing machine against laser-swords, Beacon Pines is a cute adventure game with a shadow of Stranger Things, and Slime Rancher 2 is a beloved farming sim The sequel to , where you spar with critters and unravel mysteries.

Grim Metroid Moonscars was added on September 27, along with the full version of Grounded. Obsidian Entertainment has been fine-tuning its survival adventure game since 2020, and the full version looks set to be full of content, improvements, and a reactive world to explore.

Let’s Build a Zoo and Valheim hit Game Pass on September 29, bringing a dose of pixelated management sim and open-world survival to Xbox and PC. Valheim has been a huge hit since it launched in Early Access, blending a Viking theme with procedurally generated lands in which you need to survive and thrive. Finally, the PAW Patrol Grand Prix will arrive on September 30th. If you want to immerse youngsters in a racing game based on the popular animated series, this family-friendly driving game might be worth a look.
