When live photos of the upcoming Barbie movie leaked earlier this year, it seemed that too many fans were eager to get a glimpse of Margot Robbie’s Barbie Girl in the Barbie universe.
Appear in The Tonight Showthe Barbie star said some of the outside footage from filming the film led to some awkward moments for her and co-star Ryan Gosling.
“By the way, I can’t tell you how ashamed we are,” Robbie said. “We seem to be laughing and having fun, but [we’re] Died in it… dead. I thought, this is the most humiliating moment of my life. “
Robbie added that there were far more people who came to see the cast in neon pink and yellow costumes than they expected.
“So I knew there was going to be a little bit of attention and there might be some pictures coming up, but not like it was. It was like crazy. It was like hundreds of people were watching all the time.”
Officially, all of the Barbie movies we’ve seen are Barbie who first sees Robbie in a pink convertible. We also see Ken Gosling with his name on his underwear. According to Gosling, the character will have no money, no job, no car, and no house. Will Ferrell will also appear, where he will reportedly play the CEO of a toy company.
Barbie is set to hit theaters on July 21, 2023. “Little Women” and “Miss Bird” director Greta Gerwig is writing and directing Barbie. The cast will also include Simu Liu, Kate McKinnon, Alexandra Shipp, Emma McKee and America Ferrera.
