Hunter x Hunter Manga Finally Returns In November

After a four-year hiatus from writer Yoshihiro Togashi, the Hunter x Hunter manga finally returns in November.

As reported by Polygon, the Shonen Jump Twitter account confirmed (part 2) that the next volume of Hunter x Hunter will be released in Japan on November 4. The last volume was released on October 4, 2018, as Togashi was forced to stop production of his long-running series due to health issues.

There isn’t any confirmation of an English release date for the volume, but the final volume arrives in the U.S. about ten months after its release in Japan, meaning it may be a while before American fans get their hands on the new book chapters.

Hunter x Hunter has been sidelined since 2006 due to the back issues Togashi suffered. After a long period without any updates, the author announced on Twitter in May that he had started working on the series again.

Although starting in 1998, Hunter x Hunter has had fewer and fewer issues in Shonen Jump over the years, producing a total of 380 chapters so far. In contrast, Naruto started in 1999 and ended in 2014, producing 700 chapters.
