Deathloop’s New Gun – How To Get The Halps Prototype Weapon

Deathloop has celebrated its one-year anniversary, and as part of the festivities, Arkane has rolled out the Goldenloop update, which adds a slew of new content to the game, including a new Halps prototype weapon. This update also coincides with games released on Xbox Series X|S as part of Xbox Game Pass. The new Halps weapon is a battery-powered laser that can quickly incinerate enemies. This powerful weapon will add a lot of fun to your arsenal, whether it’s your first playthrough or a repeat playthrough. Here you can find the Halps prototype weapon.

One of the new additions to Deathloop with the Golden Loop update is the Halps prototype weapon, which fires a focused laser beam to incinerate enemies. This new weapon can be found in The Compound in Dr. Wenjie’s lab. To find the weapon, enter the lab from the green building to the left of the lab. As soon as you enter the building, there is a small room at the corner, which is in front of you as soon as you enter the door. Inside is the Halps prototype weapon, as well as two security cameras.

Don’t hack the camera, as you will need them to work properly in one of two ways of opening the case and securing the weapon. It’s best to try to retrieve the Halps in the morning when Wenjie is not in her lab. The first method is to activate the laser by pulling the left lever, then the right laser. If the camera isn’t hacked, it turns red and focuses on you. You need to have the camera point the laser at its charging station, which will break the charging station and open the case. In the process, you may be killed by the laser, so make sure you have the respawn plate and still have it activated. The redo tablet is given to you at the start of the game and automatically equipped, but if you arrive at the lab without a redo, that’s fine too.

Another way to retrieve the Harpus prototype weapon is to return to the compound at night, when Dr. Wenjie removes it from its chest. The downside here is that Dr. Wenjie will be in her lab, so you’ll have to fight through a few clones to get the weapon.

The Halps prototype weapon uses batteries, so you’ll need to recharge it from a battery or battery station to replenish ammo. It can fire at sensors and turrets, which redirects lasers wherever they point. This weapon can fire multiple times and quickly knock out enemies before running out of charge, so it’s a great weapon to help you break the cycle.
