Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Beta Pre-Load Live Now For Xbox And PC

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta is not yet available to players outside of PlayStation systems, but you can get ready for the second beta. Preloads are available for both Xbox and PC players, days before they can play the beta — assuming they pre-ordered the game.
If you pre-ordered Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox or PC, you should receive a code that gives you access to the closed beta period. The beta is also open to anyone who pre-ordered the game on PlayStation systems and will run from September 22-23. Between September 24th and September 26th, anyone can play the beta, regardless of what platform they’re using or whether they’ve pre-ordered the game. Xbox Live Gold is required to play the beta on Xbox, but PS Plus is not required on PlayStation.
The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta has included quite a bit of content so far, including playlists like prisoner rescue and third-person POV, as well as standards like team deathmatch and domination. Several maps are also included, as well as a Ground War map showing how the massive, chaotic mode has evolved since the 2019 game. Participating players will be rewarded in the final game, including stickers, weapon blueprints, and operator skins.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 officially launches on October 28 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5 and PC. If you pre-order the game digitally, you’ll be able to enter campaign mode starting October 20th.
